Improving the Productivity of Aquaculture in Ghana (IPAG)

Improving the Productivity of Aquaculture in Ghana (IPAG) project is a partnership between the Department and the Danish Technical University (DTU Aqua), Denmark. Overall, we seek to strengthen and increase productivity in the aquaculture industry by continuing to provide evidence based research outputs targeted at reducing dependency on high costs fishmeal and oil, cutting feed cost, improving the culture environment and to diversify the species under culture. Collaboration with industry partners will ensure that research findings are directly applied to minimize environmental impacts, improve productivity and job creation.
